hello no one!
i'm sorry november. i didn't mean to leave you out in the cold.
anyway, i've absorbed billy corgan's blog entries for too long and from too young an age for me to ever write anything truly coherent on the internets.
but i will just say that the tmi cd's arrived today. i numbered them by hand, 1-100. it felt good.
i'll say another thing. yesterday i happened to run into a very talented friend who informed me that she had recorded her first garageband demo...she invited me to listen in her car, where she had it on a cd. as she was putting it on she said something to the effect of, "don't feel weird, but this song is about you." i thought maybe she was joking. but it was unmistakably about me. and it was very beautiful and very sad. an odd mixture of emotions came over me, but ultimately it was a really good feeling to know someone cared enough to put in the effort to express her feelings & thoughts towards me in such a pure way (as much as i disagree with said feelings & thoughts). nah, i can't really disagree. all i can do is accept that she feels how she says she feels. 'tis what 'tis. she gave me the cd and i listened to the song at least 15 times yesterday. it's real purrty.
so now the word on the street is someone ELSE has also written a song about me that predates the other song. she is supposedly preparing to play it to me. suspenseful. now mind you, i've written numerous songs about both these girls already, so really i am not terribly impressed that each of them managed to crank out one measly song about me. i think i am really waiting for THE ONE that writes more songs about me than i write about her...or at least a comparable amount...
